Oliver Czeslik

Narrator and Navigator

Oliver Czeslik’s plays have been shown in many european countries and New York (“khaddafi rocks” directed by Philip Seymor Hoffmann). His filmscripts are centered around literature and politics.

Oliver is a frequent lecturer for screenwriting, among others at Deutsche Film und Fernsehakademie Berlin (dffb), and lead international workshops e.g. at Theater-treffen Berlin. He also lectured at Bauhaus University Weimar. Founder of the screen-writing department at S. Fischer publishers. sturmunddrangfilm GmbH, which he co-founded, is also produces feature films.

Kathrin Brunner

Strategist and Catalyst

Kathrin Brunner is a passionate thinker in the field of digital media, digital media distribution and content development. Curiosity is what drives her.

She has held Senior Management positions at Warner/ Bertelsmann Joint Venture in2movies, Deutsche Telekom and Discovery Communications. Her company Starberry.the media factory has consulted a wide range of companies, from ProSiebenSat1’s VoD platform maxdome to the german public broadcasters.

Kathrin Brunner holds a doctoral degree in Strategic Management from Munich School of Management (LMU) on the topic of Organisation Theory in times of Globalization.

Henry Bauer

VR and Tech
Partner and Unit Director, EXOZET

Henry is an experienced Partner with a demonstrated history of working in the internet industry. As Partner and Unit Director of Berlin agency EXOZET, he has defined high profile projects such as the ZDF mediathek, Telekom Sports, has defined VR Experiences and showrooms for AUDI and many more. He has a great knowledge of Virtual Reality in technical terms and in the philosophy of its subject, too.

He is also board member for finance at VRBB, the association for Virtual Reality in Berlin Brandenburg.

Henry will be our man at the turntables of our VR experience „Me and My Brain“.

Fred Kelemen

Film
Director and DOP

Fred Kelemen is an award winning director, DoP and script writer.

He shot six feature films as a director and DoP ("Kalyi", "Fate", "Frost", "Nightfall", "Fallen", "Sarajevo Songs of Woe"). As a DoP he collaborated with film directors like Béla Tarr (“Journey to the Plain”, Hungary 1995, “The Man from London”, Hungary/France/Germany 2007, “The Turin Horse”, Hungary, France, USA, Germany 2011 ), Joseph Pitchhadze ("Sweets" Israel 2012/13), Pavel Lungin ("Esau" Russia, Israel 2018/19) a. o.

He worked as an associated professor giving master classes and lectures at film schools and universities worldwide.

Since 2001 he directed several plays at different theatres in Germany.

Retrospectives of his films had been presented around the globe at places like the Anthology Film Archives New York and theTate Modern London.

F. K. is member of the Academy of Motion Picture Art and Sciences (AMPAS) / U.S.A., the European Film Academy (EFA) and the German Film Academy.

Juliane Fuchs

Juliane Fuchs, born in Jena in 1971. Freelance author, producer and curator for film, TV and festivals. Editor of the MDR German Broadcasting Corporation since 2006, Editor "Unicato - Junger Film im MDR" and Media Competence Center. 1999 co-founder of »backup_festival. new media in film«, festival director until today. Juliane Fuchs studied Visual Communication and Media Design at Bauhaus University in Weimar and has profound experience in producing, managing and also teaching about cultural events, especially at the film-institute of Bauhaus University, Weimar.

Juliane Fuchs is a member of various boards of socio-cultural and film-cultural associations and initiatives on a local, regional and national level aiming at the development of new ways of communication, administration and financing in art and culture and has received several awards for her work.

Dr. Alexander Peyser is our contact to the Human Brain Project. He is a specialist on Neuroscientific Models of the Brain, which he also develops, for example in the following projects:

- Development of high-performance neuroscience codes for supercomputers across European data centers, optimizing for many-core environments including GPUs, AVX.

- Designed and built an HPC Beowulf-style computing cluster used for electrostatic simulations and MC calculations.

Alexander Peyser’s has worked among others for Motorola European Cellular Services Division, ESO Corporation, In Vision Research, and Mediacentric Corporation, as well as the Universities of Miami and Jülich.

Marc Hermann

TRICKLABOR, 3D Artist

Marc Hermann is a trained scientist and journalist. All his career (since 2000), he spent at the interface between science and visual communication.

He taught himself how to produce films by producing an award-winning short film and has been invited to Berlinale Talent Campus twice.

He founded TRICKLABOR in 2006 to bring all his interests together. Ever since, he is supervising all TRICKLABOR productions and is active in the field of concept, direction, cut and animation.

Marc’s heroes of animation are John Lasseter and Tex Avery, his favourite director is Stanley Kubrick and Werner Heisenberg and Marie Curie have impressed him most on the scientific side.

Tobias Heiler

MBA, Sport Science and Management, CFO and founder of brainboost GmbH

Tobias Heiler focuses on neurofeedback trainings in the non-medical field, e.g. with athletes and high-performers. Here, he specialized in the improvement of mental fitness through mindfulness and Neurofeedback.

He is also conducting train-the-trainer workshops and certification for potential neurofeedback practitioners. Additionally, thanks to him we have a brainboost community with partners all around the world.

Tobias’ daily work at brainboost is influenced by his broad spectrum of interests, such as motor sports, health, technological advancements and new innovations.

Sebastian Esposito

After some experience in the areas of radio and live action film during his studies at the Bauhaus-University Weimar, Sebastian Esposito got more and more in to the digital worlds.

In addition to the areas of computer animation and 3D modeling, he is now primarily interested in procedural and generative design techniques.

Sebastian uses computer software to inspire himself. He then combines the seemingly random results into a complete work.

Daniel Lichtenstern

3D / VR Software Development, Shader & Procedural

Daniel Lichtenstern is a developer, specialized on BCI (Brain Computer Interface) and the founder of a tech. company IT’s 2morrow (www.its2morrow.de), working on 3D / VR solutions, supported by Web-, Desktop- or Mobile-Applications.

Together with brainboost and his team IT’s 2morrow developed an open platform for BCI communication and more than fifteen Brain-Based 3D / VR simulations and games.

He also gives voluntary workshops at schools every week, to spread enthusiasm for 3D development and support young developers.

Nirto Karsten Fischer

Sound Design & Komposition

Nirto Karsten Fischer, sound designer, composer and producer (Tonmeister VDT) studied Philosophy and Social Sciences at the Freie Universität Berlin with focus on theory of knowledge and ideology. During his studies he had already designed layouts for ARD broadcast and TV stations and produced afterwards countless works in this area and also composed music for films, commissioned by ARD and SAT1. Nirto Karsten Fischer’s works, which he accomplishes in his own High-End NSONICS Studio, have reached into a broad range of areas, from internationally performed choreographies to computer animations and computer games and he works since 2010 mainly as a composer, sound designer and producer for promotion and branding, having among his clients Cartier, Hugo Boss, Leica, Mercedes-Benz, Sennheiser and many others. Nirto Karsten Fischer´s audio designs and productions have received the Supersonic Award and the International Radio Award. As an art photographer he focuses on large scale abstract photography. His works have been published in the specialized press and presented in various art exhibitions.

Eleni Kofekidou

Eleni Kofekidou has been fascinated by the idea of building her own worlds since she was a child. In her bachelor studies of media management, she has planned and realized conventional media projects like video, animation and design productions. She decided to change the direction after working at the MedienNetzwerkBayern organizing the VR Area at the Medientage München. In this manner the long-forgotten dream has found its way back into her life. Since Eleni began her master’s studies of Digital Media in the Technical University Brandenburg she has used the possibility to learn everything she needs to produce VR applications like Moebius and Odysseja as well as recording and designing the audio for a spatial soundscape.

Konrad Behr

Sound

Konrad Behr has been working as a media designer and media artist since 1999. He accompanies artistic projects documentary as a photographer and/or filmmaker and creates websites for artists and initiatives. As a musician, VJ and DJ he has performed in various clubs and art spaces in Germany and Austria. In summer 2017 he was part of the international documenta14 radio project "SAVVY-Funk" in Berlin. Since 2016, a series of radio conversations has been a part of the collaboration with
.aufzeichnensysteme (Vienna), which have been broadcast by Ö1 Kunstradio (Austria), among others. In 2018 he completed his bachelor studies at the Bauhaus University Weimar with the sound composition and performance "Radio Dance" with the dancer Emelie Bardon (Malmö).
